Your Keys to Adventure

  1. Park in the lot across from the main parking area, across the road from the stone house. Start on the gravel trail by the large bulletin board sign.
  2. Walk past the gate, keeping the creek on your right. You will pass an old kiln on your left.
  3. Go up the hill to the pond and turn right toward White Tail and Pond Trail.
  4. At the Y, stay right on White Tail Deer Trail and continue up the hill. Halfway up the hill, take a right onto the green trail.
  5. Continue on the trail as it weaves around, down, up and around some more. You will eventually see some houses on your right; keep going.
  6. At the T intersection with the White Tail Deer Trail sign, stay left. There are some barns across the field on your right. You will be going uphill again.
  7. You’ll come to a clearing with a large wooden post for White Tail Deer Trail. Stay right here. There will be a large red building on your right as the trail curves left and then right.
  8. Stay on the trail as it bends left at a bench. The trail will continue to weave left and right through the woods.
  9. At the Y with the “No Horses” sign, stay left. The pond is now on your right. Just ahead is the post on your right.
  10. Continue on the path in the same direction. At the Y, stay right.
  11. At the sign for White Tail and Pond Trail, along with the safety preserver, turn left and follow the trail back to the parking area.
